Oppegård Future City Game at the University of Life Sciences

Background
From 1 to 3 November, the University of Life Sciences (UMB) at Ås, just outside Oslo, is hosting a Future City Game. The participants are fifty-five students of landscape architecture and planning, working on a semester course on rethinking development in Oppegård municipality, part of the greater Oslo area.
The workshop is the beginning of the students' ideas phase following a thorough analysis of the area. The course is managed in dialogue with the municipality.
The objectives of the game are to produce new ideas for making Oppegård a better place to live in, and to prepare the town for the challenges facing urban areas on the fringes of Oslo.
