In a nutshell - an introduction to place making

The next scheduled Homes and Communities Agency series of online workshops, 'An Introduction to Place Making', is scheduled to begin on March 8th 2010. Several more starting dates are scheduled for 2010, and one of these may fit better with your schedule.

In a Nutshell is flexible in its delivery, but there are some basic requirements for participation:

  • Enthusiasm for online learning and for communicating with your peers.
  • The time to maintain commitment during the ten weeks of the course.
  • Commitment to participating for three hours each week in interactive learning, online discussion groups and reading.  There are no set times for studying; you can work on the course whenever it is convenient for you, day or night.
  • The discipline to study at a distance, to communicate with people you may never see, and to meet deadlines.
  • Regular access to a reliable computer and the internet for the duration of the course.

On satisfactory completion of the workshop, you will receive a certificate endorsed by HCA Academy.

If you would like to enrol please complete the attached form.

You can contact the programme team for details of future programme starting dates.
