Network with local and regional transport decision-makers and professionals from around Europe.
Call for Speakers
The below list shows the topics on which presentations are sought for the technical sessions. Interested speakers are requested to prepare an abstract of 500-700 words summarising the content of the proposed presentation with emphasis on results achieved and lessons learned.
a) Urban and regional visions on climate friendly transport systems
b) Air quality monitoring and actions to improve air quality
c) Walking strategies
d) Multi-stakeholder approaches to road safety
e) Shared space
f) Multi-modal network management including non-vehicular modes
g) Utilisation of existing (ITS) infrastructure to gain more intelligence
h) Urban and regional freight strategies addressing both demand and supply
i) Innovative local transport funding and payment schemes
j) Transport benchmarking exercises and other methodological tools to support transport strategy
The deadline for submission of abstracts is 25 June 2010. Authors will be notified in July of the outcome of the evaluation process.
