'Architecture Week', the international festival of modern and contemporary architecture now in its fourth year, is taking place in Prague from 4-17 October. It is organised by Czech Architecture Week in cooperation with embassies and cultural institutes and with the support of many other partners and institutions.
This main themes of this year's festival are green architecture and urban planning. Visitors will have a chance to meet representatives from the architecture profession from many countries, including Bulgaria, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Germany, Slovakia, Spain and Poland, at exhibitions, lectures, seminars, discussions, workshops, architectural walks and open days.
The festival is being held throughout the city of Prague. Nigel Bellingham, the director of the Creative Cities project, will give a lecture on the project on 5 October.
