The Social Entrepreneurship Forum 2010 at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (SSE Riga) on 12-13 November 2010 aimed to gather social entrepreneurs from the Baltic States and Europe to discuss venture philanthropy, different approaches to social entrepreneurship, types and opportunities of social investment, as well as to establish a Baltic level network and platform for exchanging ideas, information and resources among social entrepreneurs.
1st day ‘Inspiring Baltics’ - November 12th 2010
- Public presentations of social entrepreneurs from the Baltic States to a panel of experienced social entrepreneurs and social investors from Europe;
- Information from organisations that support and promote social entrepreneurship in the Baltic States;

Social Entrepreneurship Forum 2010 also revealed the dimensions of social entrepreneurship and social innovation in the context of city and community development. The British Council in Latvia presented the best case studies of social entrepreneurship being applied in UK cities and communities.
