Bubble the City (Burbuliatorius) is a regular summer event, which takes place in different cities around the world on the same day, every second Monday at 18.30 (local time).

The aim of the event is to revitalise deactivated public spaces in cities and to encourage residents to explore the potential of public spaces.

Since 2009, more than 17 Lithuanian cities, and also London, Birmingham, Ulm, Neubrandenburg, Svelvik, Chicago, Barcelona and Stuttgart have been bubbled.
 
On Monday, 30 May 2011 the following cities are joining in:
Lithuania: Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Alytus, Rietavas, Joniškis, Marijampolė, Tauragė
UK: Aberdeen, London
Denmark: Copenhagen
 
All you need is to bring soap bubbles to the announced place in your city and bubble it :) Don’t forget an extra bottle and a smile for a passer-by, just in case!
