Technical aspects of Future City Game

We have split into three groups to discuss what parts of Future City Game works well and which parts are challenging. One group is running a simulation of Future City Game for Czech participants. Another group consisting of Players and City Partners and finally a group of Games Masters.

Initial feedback from the groups:

In the group of players and city partners some of the points that were discussed were;
Partners need a lot more clear focus from the start so the preparation process engages both the right stakeholders and right mix of stakholders.

Definition of the winning idea - discussions were also around whether the winning idea should be the one that gets most votes or whether it is in fact the one that is doable and gets implemented.

The group of GamesMasters focused on:

Some of the things that came our were solutions to realising ideas from the of the games.

The GamesMasters also had a vote on the hardest and easiest of the 7 criteria for an idea and the result was
Criteria -  hardest - sustainability easiest fun.
