What social income is generated when we support, stimulate creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship?

"Hisnande, "Tantalising is my favourite word in English" because thats why we are here, to create visions that are tantalising. Inspiring but yet close enough to reach. We need reachable visions. There are many types of visions. Tantalising visions are reachable.

People need to be able to reach visions, and today we we are the people that will be working with change, and that need to be personal, so that we can create meaningful and authentic visions enough to be able to create tantalising ideas and visions. Questions need to be answered:

"How on earth can we live together"

How do we protect the creative space? We have a constant conversion of the creative space, and we need to protect the creative space.

How can we get behind theoretical frameworks and get to the human language?

How do we get behind the intellectual convergence?

Story of the scool walk.

Lets bring people together and make a feeling of a dinner party. Lets make people feel safe as this need to feel safe. An environment where we create, and think thoughts, where we can share ideas that are incipient, half baked ideas, gradually emerges, contours of what might be the future.

Some people call this crowd sourcing, at a really great dinner part, one is not afraid of saying right or wrong. Change has to be the root of Intuition.

A guiding belief, ethos, another word i like, intellectual conversation. How do you create a global ethos? Glocal change models, as well as local to creative cities.

Social values and ethos are very importing in religiously tense cities. It was my bakery that was blown up just weeks ago in Mumbai. We must not be romantic about this. Managing creative cities will be all about crisis management. It will be like Alby metro station, as they needed to close the tube-stop for three hours, because there were social conflicts that could not be handles. We are so close to social corruption. We need to be inclusive and think about ethos in order to creative the local and glocal creative cities.

Tällberg this year will gather 2000 people this summer (2010) to discuss cultural connection, media revolution, and being bound together as humanity, despite of corporations power, the states role, the worldly poverty that we dont hear or talk very much about, yet still a part of the global ethos.

We have now gone from being bound together, to being bounded together, created a material need and production. The conflict is the social political conflicts simplified one one hand; get elected as a politician by getting people jobs. On the other hand its the natural ways that we are destroying, biodiversity, deforestation, land being land being cultivated, carbon concentration in the oceans. Our ecosystem is constraining us, and how do wemanage this is a new way that is sustainable, Its not about cars and holidays. How can we be somewhere else? It natural to be more than we are, thats natural, but what happens when we can meet that? Unless we can find radical ways to find peoples needs without making harm on natures way, we will have problems. We cant continue to ruin the planet, we need social entrepreneurship and find new ways of massive transition. We need to be creative in this meaningful context.

The global trends are going in the completely wrong direction, we need to take actions for change and transactions. Cities will be a challenge with its power consumption. We need to be creative about the solutions. It might have to be models for digging with your hands, not about social web networks. We need to be sensitive to the local processes, while digging it up, and around. We need models for transition.

On the 5th of june and 8 th aprill, companies are comming togethr at (Tällberg?)with polititians, leaders and thinkes asking, if we are rebuilding the million programmet? what are the processleaders, what is the process?

If we need to have a pull in that area, a global scheme is amazing but the pull interface needs to be local, as in social dynamics (fit together) schools, people, municipalities. We need social dynamics to match, locally and globally for social integration's to avoid the i divisions we saw disconnect in the 80 ties. We are literally together in the same boat.

Shared discussion around the tables (a few reflections):

  • I drew a picture of confusion. We need to understand that there will be confusion duringt  the transformation.
  • We need to focus on the individuals. We have ideas but we haveto also land, and use our feet, as we are a part of a bigger system, and see the glocal perspective.

We need to look for “we need to do something”, just like we need to adress the coalistions that will happen. The large picture needs to adress our everyday work, and the structures need to be used. Not neccesary the polititians in Copenhagen, but local ones. Arbetsförmedlningen, making people play a produtive role in society, and Energi myndigheten are exaples of local powers we need to take into account.

The biggest problem we have today is missalocation of talent. The talent today is occupied with wasting their time working iwth problems that dont matter, wether its at Goldman Sachs, or somewhere else. We need to start thining about social problems, the problem is that they are thinking about those problems togeher with peopl like themselves. People need to think about structures outside their given structures, for more than three days, and after they go back to the dinner parties in London. We need to collaborate over those borders and think longer and further.
